When the end grain of any wood is utilized as the wear surface, its resistance to abrasion is enhanced. Add that characteristic to an already dense hardwood product like Mesquite, and you are rewarded with an incredibly hard wearing floor.

Mesquite already receives very high marks for stability due to its unusually low Tangeal Shrinkage. When turned on end the durability of these products makes them the perfect flooring material for those challenging applications that require a highly resilient yet strikingly beautiful floor.
